Pre-digital design. Edward penfield. Task 2

Pre-Digital Design       Edward Penfield

The colours used in this style of design are duller and less vibrant. This makes the images look older. The images have little to no shadows and the colour range is small.

The main images are people, the style used to paint it looks like there isn’t much detail in the image and the main image doesn’t standout much from the background.

The style used normally gives the image a small amount of space and depth. This style often has a flat single colour background that makes the image have little space and depth.

Pre-Digital Design was around when there wasn’t the modern day technology like computers, printers and modern day paints.

The layout in this style has the main image either on the left or right side or in the middle. There is a large amount of flat colour in the image.

The composition of this style is normally a single character as the main image on a flat background. The images have a small amount of depth. The colours are dull and less vibrant.

The style of the text/type is a single colour that is easy to read. The colour of the text is different from the background but still relates to the image.

The technique used by the artist to use this style is water colour paints and a paintbrush.
